Change.
Some people tend to regard this word with alternative emotions.
Emotions that make us feel scared or worried about the future.
If change happens, then what happens to all of the things I love about right now?
Guys, change is always occurring.
No matter what you want to stay the same, no matter how much you love this moment and all that it brings..
It will change.
But change doesn’t need to be scary or worrisome.
When we view life as a large lesson.. one that gives us insight + maturity + knowledge + confidence - then why can’t we see change as good?
Change helps us to be better than the day before today.
Change helps us to make better choices, and do better deeds.
Change helps us to learn in so many ways, and to grow in so many ways.
It is us who hold the mentality towards it.
It is us who have the power to make change be a word of greatness.
If we stayed the same, what would life look like?
Would we challenge ourselves to step outside of our comfort zone?
Would we visit with our family and bring new ideas and new flavours to the table, expanding not only our own reach into knowledge and greatness, but also theirs?
Would we show up to our jobs with freshness in our step because we did something completely new recently?
New perspectives.
New learnings.
New friends, new experiences, new life.
It doesn’t mean that you have to change a thing about your life at all - because this change is happening without your help.
So - try to look at it as a good thing.
When we get into our ‘ways’ of living, we become compulsory and complacent.
We forget the little moments of joy that we have in our days.
The moments of spontaneity that revitalize our systems.
When we allow change, these things settle into our bones more - and shift us.
They allow us to grow in our lifetime - which I believe is the reason we are all here.
To grow, to expand, and to change into who we are meant to become.
