To review them and re-program our attitude towards them.
What if the things that we had to do didn’t feel so daunting.
That it felt like things we want to complete - things we want to jump into.
Even if if it something you usually dislike.
How do we shift our minds, then?
We take a breath. We settle down. And we look at it through a new lens.
‘I have to get my car cleaned - how can I show up that I can be the best me - and maybe learn about the art behind cleaning the car through the company who offers cleaning, or have a great conversation with the car cleaner, or plan a small drive after with the car to enjoy it more while it’s clean, etc”
Perhaps you can have simply appreciation that there is someone out there who can do this for you.
Perhaps you appreciate how the car looks so darn good after.
Rather than it being another thing ‘to get done’. Appreciate it.
Think about your business to-do.
Let’s take a breath again.
Instead of seeing it as this big, looming project - how to get clients, how to build out your idea..
Take one step. Write down your priorities in the project.
Look at the little moments within the work.
How can you slow down and resonate better with the tasks?
See it through the eyes of the customer or client.
See how you can add value, how you can get excited.
Life is the journey. Life is all the moments.
Life isn’t only lived at the finish line.
So - enjoy.
Enjoy the little moments in the things you do.
Enjoy the way that everything you do ripples onto others.
Your mood, your attitude, your vibration.
So - get the things done - but get them done with mindfulness and a newfound excitement.
Because your life is in the hours, minutes, seconds you’re living.
Live it. Live live live live it.
