In this life, by now we believe know ourselves so well.
What we don’t know is that many, if not all, of us have been searching for where we fit in our entire lives.
What we think we are meant to do.
Where we are meant to be, how we’re meant to perform.
…And we are always looking to do what others do.
To be seen, to be congratulated, to be recognized in that space.
We fit in to ensure that we find some happiness.
But - this brings us to live a life that is crafted synthetically.
This synthetically crafted life shows up in the way we respond. The way we share our ideas. The way we hide our thoughts or feeling in fear of not being able to fit in.
We are sheltered. We are hiding. We are holding back.
But - what if you - just as you are - are exactly what the world needs?
Your quirks and your funny comments and your obsession with a unique topic - or simply in the way in which you say hello to people.
What if you are the spark in someone’s day - that they actually don’t get to experience because you are hiding?
What if you were perfect for a role in a career you never thought of, but it would fulfill your every desire and wish and passion?
What if, today, you decided to listen in?
To say the exact words your heart is asking you to say.
To make the silly comment your belly wants you to make.
To explore that place you walk by but never go because it isn’t seen as normal.
What if you listened in?
What if you leaned in?
I know from experience doing these things aligns you with your life meant to be lived. With all the things that are actually meant for you.
And from there, it gets easy to lean in. Because all of the options ahead are all beautiful and fulfilling and true to your own soul - your own values.
So listen in.
Because what if you found that on the other side of that listening and leaning, there was freedom?
There is someone you meet on the other side. Or an idea you birth in the process. Or an opportunity that knocks.
What if, on the other side, is your real life?
The true one. No synthetics.
Just love. Of being you. Of being true. And of you living the life that you were always meant to see through (that rhymed - ooooo ya).
