Did you ever take a moment to stop and recognize that not everyone looks at things the way you do?
In fact - not one other person on this planet will have the exact same perspective as you.
Yet, many of us live our lives according to our own ways - our own story, our own lane, our own road. We do so thinking that other people understand.
And we expect many people to understand - or to jump in line with what we are doing.
We usually do not take into account the fact that even the people closest to us see differently than us.
Others may have been through something you haven’t - which changed their mind on a situation or a type of experience.
They may have been taught and nurtured in a completely unique way - where things get highlighted in their days more than in yours.
They may have a goal set right now, that when something aligned comes along - their focus shifts and their attitude may alter.
Whatever it may be - everyone has their own unique state of mind.
Everyone sees the world differently. At every moment.
In fact, a lot of people are colour blind and don’t recognize the change in colour from their eyes to yours. Because they have never seen through your eyes.
Just like they have never seen through your perspective.
So at the end of the day, we need to remember not to expect someone to see the same way we do - but instead to simply understand and acknowledge that there is a difference in seeing. And also ask for understanding.
There is and will always be a difference in perspective.
And we can be aligned in understanding that.
