Why are we so scared to live in the body?

To feel, to cherish, to hold, to simply be with our body.

With our heartbeat. With our pumping veins.

It’s as if we have created a wall - one that don’t allow ourselves to believe holds something for us on the other side. We don’t even think of it, actually.

We are in this safe space, confined by walls.. right?

We see this wall, and we accept that it’s there - and we stay within the confines of what we have grown to know.

But, what if we discovered something so simple that would change our lives?

That beyond this wall is the answer to every question you’ve ever asked yourself.

That your answers, your knowing, your release, your real you, is just beyond what isn’t seen by you here.

And all it takes is mindful moments (that’s all!) to get there.

It only takes the presence of yourself with your body to climb that tall, tall wall we have built to the other side.

It sounds too simple to be true, doesn’t it?

Let’s return home. Let’s get back into the body today, even if for a moment.

Today we are going to move.

Very easily - very slowly.

Breathe in. Give yourself 3 minutes.

  1. We are going to rise up out of our seats - right now - (do it!) - and slowly move our torsos around on top of our hips. Side to side. Breathing into this space.

  2. We are then going to tap our feet into the floor, your toes - your heels - and move your body back and forth.. slowly and move the entire body side to side. Breathe into it and stretch your feet out.

  3. Now, we are going to shake our body (like a dog would after getting out of the water). Breathing in.

  4. Shake!!! ..and on your exhale say as loud as you can 'ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!’ and let it all out. Shake what is not yours out of your body.

  5. Place one hand on your heart, and one hand on your belly.

  6. See what comes up.
