There is a power we have when we cleanse ourselves.
Cleanse the energies of yesterday, the concepts we once thought, and the behaviours we once exhibited.
We forget to allow these past things to roll off of our current existence.
To be apart from the past, to be cleansed from an older version of you.
This is something we do daily, and most of the times aren’t aware of it.
We are forever changing. Forever evolving.
Forever growing through learning new ideas, new perspectives.
We are not the same as we once were. We are not exhibiting the exact same behaviours as before.
We are different now, versus yesterday.
The make up of your body is different now, versus yesterday.
You have replenished yourself, you have cleaned yourself, you have fed yourself, you have had experiences, you have learned.
You have changed and cleansed your body, versus yesterday.
The way I feel cleanse is with water.
It is the element that is most important to us as human beings.
It gives us life, right now - and it releases the past.
Water changes the ways in which our bodies work.
Our bodies soak it up and it hydrates our cells.
Hydration gives us grander brain function, more energy and more strength.
It gives us what we need to survive, while allowing our bodies to release nutrients and substances within us we no longer need, or those that do not support our health.
The ultimate cleanse.
Immersing in water also gives us superpowers.
It slows down our heart rate, reducing the need for oxygen.
Completely changing the way in which our body works in nature.
Allowing us to emerge from it’s depths with clarity, understanding, and gratitude.
The second most ultimate cleanse.
As water cleanses us, we immerse new.
We come out cleaner, having left baggage of the past behind us.
Having left the stories of yesterday in the water.
Water is within us, and without us.
It cleans us inside and cleans us outside.
It cleans us physical and it cleans us mental.
Feel the way in which it washes the stories away.
Feel the way in which it changes you.
Because - we have changed.
Water flows in us, around us, and through us - and with every sip of life we learn new and we release old.
