Today is a day for peace + subtle contentment.
It is December.
An inner belly smile, feeling cozy and relaxed in our colder months in the northern hemisphere. A time to come together, and bunker down with each other for the winter.
This my friends, is a gathering.
A gathering of mindfulness for you to take into the season ahead with reflection + poise.
Today, I want you to reflect - reflect on connection + dedication, on being + expression.
Christmas
Right now is the most collecting time for us and our loved ones to unite. Unite in love, peace, joy, and celebration for the holiday.
And to celebrate moments along with the unconditional love of those we care for. With all of the compassion + the gratitude for us all being healthy, happy, and present.
Even if for some of you, coming together simply means to unite in flexibility of acceptance of one another - this is a beautiful opportunity to be as well.
Today, we gather our selves and our thoughts.
It is time for you to live deeper, cherish more.
EXERCISE FOR INNER JOY
Where, during the holiday season, do you know you’re going to feel? (ie. I have lost a family member, and I will feel sadness for them not being there. / I have a lot of people expecting me to do certain things, and I will feel stress for this reason. / I have a deep deep connection to Christmas music and past memories, and I will feel content in these moments of listening to them.)
How can you give yourself the space you need to be present in these feelings? (ie. I will take time to think about the family member I lost, and give so much love to this holiday for them/from them. / I will make sure that I listen to my own expectations of myself first (self care, home needs, etc), before I give my energy outwards in any way. / I will mindfully listen to my Christmas music on replay, and embrace my holiday spirit.)
